Situation center is an effective management tool
Situation centers are key control elements and decision-making points for organizations and enterprises. Situation centers were mainly developed in the military and space industries. Then, gradually, this control and management tool began to be introduced in government organizations and manufacturing enterprises.
Gradually, more and more enterprises began to understand the importance of situation centers and now this management tool is not a novelty from the space or military industry. Many enterprises and retail chains are implementing data centers and corporate situation centers.
As a rule, the analytical system of the corporate central office is built from three main subsystems:
- Situation center
- Automatic calculation of statistical data, output of graphs and trends.
- Consolidated information, reporting for founders and managers of enterprises
The situation center is based on data received from enterprise systems (data centers), divided into functional blocks:
- Security, operational accounting and control
- Production
- Commerce
To ensure maximum operational safety, the structured cabling system is built on physically independent lines (circuits). Interaction and data exchange is performed through security gateways. This ensures maximum protection of the functional units, protection from unauthorized interference both from the "world" and from the enterprise itself.
Four separate physical lines for building information subnets:
- Production and technological system
- Security system: video surveillance, archives, alarm, operational accounting and control, public address system and alarm notifications
- Commercial accounting and logistics: 1C, warehouse accounting, commerce
- Measurements and reserves: resource accounting, climate systems, environmental control.
Physical separation allows for the construction of a full-fledged security system and reduces the risks of virus attacks and malicious actions.
IMPORTANT! Division into functional blocks allows you to create three control points of accounting and, in the future, organize automatic comparison of data by control points. In addition, data protection is ensured at the user level, for example, an operational control employee cannot see commercial information - price, counterparties, contracts, and an employee of the commercial department does not have access to actual data on the volumes of manufactured and transported products.
