This processing is present in the configurations for trade, warehouse accounting and production. Please note! This processing is not available in “1C:Accounting 8”! Refine the “Accounting” configuration. for working with bar codes is not practical. If the needs of the enterprise have outgrown “Accounting”, then it makes sense to add another database and make data exchange. Accounting will still have information for generating reports, and the new “Operational Accounting” database will add the ability to work with bar codes of labels, documents, storage locations, series, employee cards and service commands.

The accounting program and label printer make it possible to automate the acceptance of goods, inventory, and the movement of goods between warehouses. Printing barcodes in 1C can be programmed for inventory items, serial numbers, documents, service commands (weigh, record document, create document), containers (tare and weight history accounting), employee identification cards, storage locations (rows, zones, racks, cells).

Automation using a barcode should begin with marking each product received at the company's warehouse. In the 1C:Enterprise program, you can automatically generate a barcode for each product item in the nomenclature, and you can also enter your own barcode for the product. All that remains is to print it on a label printer.

For printing barcodes in 1C, our company's specialists recommend using network label printers. One of the most reliable entry-level printers is the Godex G500. This is a universal model for automating workplaces with label printing up to 5,000 per day. If the number of labels is large, then a semi-industrial or industrial label printer is needed.
