Video conference communication system
Currently, business intensity is increasing, top-managers of large companies often are not able to be present at all important meetings requiring personal presence. The most efficient solution of this problem is video conference communication that helps to reduce the costs for organization of business-trips for employees as well as to save time, the most expensive resource for the employer.
The system of video conference communication is designed on the base of telecommunicational equipment Cisco. The project of installing the system is designed jointly with the Vostok Company and Cisco specialists' efforts.
One of the main project aims is to carry out remote meetings and conferences and therefore increase productivity. Such an approach helps to save money for business-trips and time. Besides, video conference communication gives an opportunity to gather necessary people from different parts of the country and of the globe.
The base of the video conference communication is server for switching of multimedia video conferences of standard resolution Tandberg Codian MCU series 4215 for 30 ports guaranteeing great quality of image and sound.
The server is connected to the systems of video conference 770 MXP+NPP equipped with codec Tandberg Set-top 770 MXP allowing connection via IP networks with speed 768 kbit/sec and 512 kbit/sec correspondingly. Due to the support of the standard H.264 Tandberg 770 MXP+NPP ensures an excellent quality of video even with low network capacity. Besides, the system of video conference communication supports encoding and authentication ensuring high quality of connection protection.
The main peculiarity of Cisco solutions is scale of the performed works and opportunity to increase the capacity of the system. Besides carrying out the conferences, the system of video communication can be used for training and teaching purposes. For example, interactive presentation of new product or technology can be carried out. The same way interviews can be carried out.
Two major stages of the project implementation can be singled out. First of all, all the subdivision and subsidiaries must be united into single local computer network and on its bases single telephone system must be designed. Only afterwards the equipment for video conference communication can be installed.
Depending on the sizes of the enterprise, the costs for the system are repaid in 3-8 months.
